the company
Sanzeebaa is a vibrant yet highly experienced team of patent
professionals specializing in technology transferring and
Japanese patent searching.
The company was founded in 1999 by Yasuo Yamada in Atsugi, Japan providing services
solely to the Japanese clientele. Within 18 months since the
inception, the volume of operation grew dramatically and the main
office was moved to the current location in the midst of Tokyo.
The company's specialized area of searching extends to
diverse fields including business
methods, digital photography,
photocopying, printing, communication, information
technology, software, optics, general
engineering arts, biotechnology, chemicals and much
more!
About
Yasuo Yamada
Yasuo Yamada, president and CEO of Sanzeebaa, is a 20-year
Japanese patent expert. During the last half of his 30 years with
Fuji Xerox Company, his commitment was to build and conduct the
largest and strongest team of patent search specialists among those
of all other large corporations. Mr. Yamada was the company's first
employee to be sent on loan to the IPCC(Industrial Property Cooperation Center), an
extra-departmental body of the Japanese Patent Office.
After returning to Fuji Xerox, Mr. Yamada initiated a
reforming movement of the company's existing patent information
system while performing duties in the company's all patent-related
activities.
In 1995, Mr. Yamada introduced a new patent searching system
developed by Hitachi to the company, and implemented a new standard
for all the engineers to perform effective patent searching as well
as for the company to provide extensive training to maintain the
high standard.
Leaving Fuji Xerox in 2000 was a big turning point in Mr.
Yamada's life. After the event, he systematized all his knowledge of
patent searching and perfected his own searching method, with which
he teaches patent searching courses at Patent Work School in Tokyo. While conducting
professional searches himself, a large part of his devotions is
directed to educating prospective search professionals, to promoting
Fuji Xerox's Patent Data Base System "DocuPat", and to supporting to
develop patents (especially for business method) with the skills he
has acquired over the
years.
